KUNCHO Sake Brewery [薫⻑酒造 1702] is located in Hita, Oita Prefecture, Kyushu. Part of the brewery constructed in 1826, is designated as a museum dedicated to traditional sake brewing methods. Kuncho Sake is brewed from carefully selected local rice and soft water. It is very popular among locals, as well as visitors. The aim of the brewery is the preservation of painstaking sake-brewing techniques and production of high-quality sake and shochu. Their homemade ice-cream Gelateria and bakery should not be a miss while visiting Hita!
