Suzuki
Founded in 1689, Suzuki Shuzoten is a long-established sake brewery based in Daisen, Akita Prefecture, with over three centuries of brewing tradition. Using pristine spring water from the Ou mountain range and localy grown rice, the brewery crafts sake that reflects the natural character of the region and complements local cuisine. Its signature brand “Hideyoshi” was named after Lord Satake of the Akita domain, who famously praised the sake as “superb” during the Edo period. While preserving traditional techniques, Suzuki Shuzoten also embraces modern sensibilities, focusing on balance, drinkability, and harmony with food—a philosophy that continues to earn the respect and loyalty of sake lovers both localy and beyond.
