Futsushu

Futsushu, or Regular Sake, refers to sake that does not meet the requirements for the designated sake categories such as Junmai, Ginjo or Daiginjo.

There are no specific rice-polishing requirements for Futsushu, and the brewing process can vary considerably between producers. It is often made to be approachable and easy to drink, making it a popular choice for everyday drinking. Flavours can range from light and clean to richer and more full-bodied.

Best for: Those looking for an approachable, versatile sake for everyday drinking and food pairing.
